I spent 20 years being told I was too much. Turns out I was just undiagnosed.

I'm Cass. Late-diagnosed neurodivergent professional, former data / intelligence analyst, and the person who figured out — the hard way — why workplace systems are designed to fail people like us.

My Story

I didn't get my ADHD diagnosis in my twenties when it might have been convenient.

I got it after two decades of being the person who was brilliant in some rooms and completely lost in others. Who could analyse complex information under pressure but struggled with repetitive tasks. Who was told she was "too intense," "too literal," and "too direct" — by people who had no idea they were describing an undiagnosed neurodivergent brain trying to function in a system that was never designed for it.

My career has spanned data and intelligence analysis across biosecurity, transport security, mining, rail safety and gaming sectors. I've held board positions. I've been the person in the room that senior leaders call when they need someone who thinks differently.

And the entire time, I was white-knuckling it. Navigating unwritten rules and inferred communications.

If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Who I Work With

I work with late-diagnosed adults — mostly ADHD, often with other neurodivergent profiles alongside it — who are navigating the gap between the diagnosis and the rest of their life. Specifically:

The Relief and Rage phase. You finally have an explanation. You also have a lot of feelings about why it took this long. Both of those things are true at the same time, and neither of them tells you what to do on Monday morning.

The career that doesn't quite fit. You've built a work life around compensating for things you didn't know you had. Some of it worked. Some of it nearly broke you. Now you want to understand what's actually your strength and what's just exhaustion dressed up as competence.

The workplace you don't know how to navigate. Whether to disclose. How to ask for what you actually need. Why you can do extraordinary work in some contexts and nothing at all in others. How to stop managing up in a way that costs you everything.

The systems that never worked. Every productivity book, every time management framework, every "just make a list" piece of advice was designed by and for neurotypical brains. If you've tried them all and still feel like you're failing, it's not because you're broken. It's because they don't fit.

What I'm Not

I'm not a therapist. I don't provide clinical services, diagnosis, or treatment.

What I am is someone with twenty years of professional experience and lived experience of exactly what you're navigating — who has also spent a significant amount of time figuring out what actually works for ADHD brains in the real world of work.

If you need clinical support, I'll tell you, and I can point you toward the right people. But if what you need is someone to help you figure out how your brain actually works and build a life that fits it — that's what I do.

You Were Never The Problem

The system was.

But you still have to live and work inside it. So let's figure out how to do that in a way that actually works for your brain — not the neurotypical version of your brain that everyone else seems to expect.
